What routine cleaning should cover
A useful recurring clean should take the everyday burden off your list. Habitat’s Standard service focuses on dusting accessible surfaces, cleaning bathrooms and kitchen surfaces, cleaning the microwave interior, vacuuming, mopping, and emptying household trash. It is designed for regular upkeep rather than months of buildup.
The details that require more time
Baseboards, hand-washed blinds, window tracks, doors, air vents, fixtures, and built-up corners belong in a Deep Clean. These tasks are slower and more detailed, which is why putting them into the correct scope matters for both the client and cleaner.
Add-ons for a customized clean
Baseboards can be added to Standard service. Oven interiors and refrigerator interiors are available separately, as are empty cabinet and drawer interiors. Interior window service covers glass, sill, and track for windows up to eight feet; skylights and high entry windows are excluded.
How to compare cleaning companies
Ask for the actual checklist, proof of insurance, background-check practices, the satisfaction policy, and how pricing is calculated. A vague promise to “clean the house” makes it hard to know what you purchased. Habitat gives you a defined service and a real price before the appointment.
