Make the home truly ready
Move-In/Move-Out Cleaning is performed in a vacant home. Remove furniture, boxes, personal items, and trash before the appointment. Electricity and running water must remain available so the team can vacuum, clean appliances, wash surfaces, and mop floors.
Leave access information early
Share the lockbox, key, gate, parking, alarm, or property-manager instructions before service day. If the cleaner cannot enter, the cleaning cannot begin, and a last-minute access problem can affect the moving schedule.
What this service reaches
Habitat’s Move-In/Move-Out service includes Standard and Deep tasks, plus refrigerator interiors and empty cabinet and drawer interiors. Baseboards and interior window glass, sills, and tracks are included. The purpose is to remove the traces of the prior occupant and leave the empty home ready for its next chapter.
Photograph special concerns
If a landlord, buyer, or property manager identified a problem area, send a photo when requesting the quote. Cleaning can remove dirt and buildup, but it cannot repair permanent stains, damaged finishes, worn grout, or deteriorated caulk. Flagging these areas early creates realistic expectations.
